1) Leptin, the hormone that decreases hunger, the BOSS of fat balance
2) Ghrelin, the hormone that increases hunger
And what makes them work right, their “rules” of engagement so to speak.
As we gather our years, the tendency for these hormones to get whacky increases so I’ve noticed we have to pull the reins in a bit more to enjoy good balance.
I’ve had to make some adjustments and I have WAY less wiggle room.
